This is a beautiful restaurant space located inside the Sofitel Hotel and is one of LA’s premier restaurants. The hotel was renovated and few years back and now is just stunning. Simon LA is a very fitting edition to the hotel.
Our server was very friendly and gave us some great recommendations on what to try. Please try not to fill up on the incredible bread basket, you want to make sure to leave room for a great meal. We shared a Margherita Pizza, West Coast Oysters and the Truffled Macaroni and Cheese , which was a great start. I ordered the Coq au Vin, (which was much better than the one I made a few weekends ago) my friends had the Braised Prime Beef Shortribs and the Skirt Steak. It was a great meal and a fun evening.
